The Mooring's Mariner Inn Restaurant - Road Town

This lovely open air restaurant is located dockside, overlooking the Inner Harbour at The Moorings yacht charter base and boasts a separate bar overlooking their pool.

Serving both International and West Indian cuisine, their very pleasant staff are always more than happy to explain the various menu items.

The modern stainless steel bar overlooks both the harbour and the swimming pool and I'm told their best selling mixed drink is named "sex on the yacht"! I guess sex on the beach is passé. I forgot to ask what the main ingredient might be. Sorry.

The restaurant has a varied menu but some of the favourite items are the jerk chicken wrap, chicken roti, and the Bomba chicken jump up ... which is a boneless chicken breast grilled to perfection and served with a delicious mushroom sauce. I really enjoyed it.

The pool is really nice and lunch goers are welcome to use the facilities provided there are no special events planned.
