Situated in the small plaza at the center of Nanny Cay Marina (at H Dock) is the lovely open air restaurant and bar called the Genaker Café.
Doris (the manager), her sister Claire (server) and bartender Devon are a trio of characters you won't soon forget. Devon is quick with a smile and equally quick on his feet. Service here is generally very good and so is the food.
Throughout the marina, you'll find free Wi-Fi connectivity and the small bar offers a computer for those who'd like to browse the internet. You can also watch a game on their flat screen TV while enjoying the friendly atmosphere throughout the marina.
I like the breakfasts offered here. You get a good sized serving, cooked to your liking and the staff are always attentive. Lunch is good here too and the prices are reasonable. I love the Philly cheese steak and the beer is always nice and cold. Since Nanny Cay is just about the hottest place I have ever found on Tortola, cold matters!
