She's a lovely, traditionally designed yacht both inside and out! With a length of just 36'8" overall, the Dufour 380 provides much more interior space than one would imagine. Other production sailboats of similar length (and longer) would be hard pressed to equal the interior volume found on Abacadabra.
Thanks to her 12'8" beam (much of it carried aft) ... the designers were able to offer up several features not available on other sailboats in the same size range. Both aft cabins are surprisingly spacious, with reasonable storage and hanging locker space. The forward cabin provides even more storage space as well as stand up headroom.
Forward of the aft cabins and at the base of the companionway to starboard, you'll find a well equipped navigation station with chart table. To port, a roomy head with separate shower. I really like the separate shower as it keeps the rest of the head dry. No more soggy toilet rolls or mopping up after every shower.
