Little Trunk Bay Beach - Virgin Gorda

VG_Little_Trunk_Bay_1 Little Trunk Bay Beach
This exquisite beach is just one of several lining the southwestern shore of Virgin Gorda. It's lovely for swimming and even better for snorkeling, with crystal clear water and almost nobody else around, most of the time. The further away you get from The Baths, the better the snorkeling gets. This is strictly due to the volume of people at the Baths. Twenty years ago, the snorkeling there was great, but that was before it was "discovered".

For landlubbers, unfortunately, you won't find any road access here as the beach is directly adjacent to private property. The easiest way to get here is via a small and rather obscure trail that is accessible from the north end of Spring Bay Beach or the southern end of Big Trunk Bay, aka Valley Trunk Bay.

Of course sailors can get here by sea without too much trouble. Just anchor in Spring Bay and snorkel around if sea conditions permit. Otherwise, swim to shore and take the footpath from Spring Bay.
