Sitting at the foot of Zion Hill Road on the north side of Tortola and at the west end of the island, is Sebastian's By The Sea Hotel. The restaurant is tucked into a nice little courtyard overlooking the water in Little Apple Bay, offering both indoor and outdoor dining.
According to the staff, their best selling items on the menus are the fresh lobster (in season) followed by all their seafood dishes. Their conch salad is wonderful and I am told the bushwhackers are pretty good too! There's a rumour in the wind that a popular chef has been hired for the 2016 season! If it's true ... I think dinner guests will be very pleased with this news!
You can't beat the views from the restaurant's verandah and you might even be visited by the local pearly eyed threshers who like to come begging for scraps. If you look closely at the main photo on this page, you'll see one sitting patiently, waiting for the lunch crowd to arrive.
The beach at little apple bay is small but very nice and provides the ideal place to enjoy a quiet afternoon of sunbathing and swimming after a lovely lunch.
In the photos below, General Manager, James Bridgewater is seen enjoying his day off, lounging in front of the hotel while savouring a nice glass of white wine from the restaurant.
The hotel welcomes yacht charter guests for overnight stays prior to or after your vacation. They offer clean and affordable accommodations in a great setting.
You'll be steps away from the beach with fabulous views of Jost Van Dyke and within walking distance to the world famous
Bomba's Shack or the very popular
D' Coal Pot Restaurant and not too far from
Smuggler's Cove Beach
For more information, see the hotel website (link below) or if you'd like something a little more upscale with more amenities, you may want to consider their
