Harbour Market - Frenchman's Cay

Harbour_Market Harbour Market - Frenchman's Cay
There are not a lot of options for grocery shopping in the West End, that doesn't involve a lot of driving or expensive taxi rides. If you are in Soper's Hole, the Harbour Market on Frenchman's Cay is the best, and pretty much only choice for any serious provisioning. It's a half hour drive or taxi ride to Road Town on Tortola and all the major grocery stores from here.

They do a pretty good job of stocking the standard items a small grocery store would normally carry, but they may be out of stock of some items from time to time. Fresh meats and vegetables can be hit and miss, so it's best to have a contingency plan.

If you had a hankering for a great burger and the market just doesn't have any ground beef, there are several restaurants in the area where you can grab a burger! :)

There are two floors to this store. On the first floor, you'll find fresh produce, meats, eggs, packaged cheeses, dips, sodas, water, ice cream, snacks, bread and a good selection of beer, wine and spirits and frozen foods.

The deli is located upstairs and offers a pretty good range of meats that they will slice to order, rotisserie chicken, cheese, freshly baked bread, cakes and sweets. They make sandwiches to order and various coffees that you grind yourself. You can sit down at the tables provided and enjoy your lunch right there.

The dry goods section offers soups, pasta, rice, canned goods, cereals, spices, preserves, cleaning supplies, personal grooming items and children's products.
