Heather and Ewan Anderson, of
Willy T fame, expanded their BVI restaurant empire when they took over the old Jolly Roger location on the water in Soper's Hole at Tortola's West End.
They completely gutted this landmark, know to sailors for decades. The open air restaurant was completely redesigned. They updated the bar, built a brand new kitchen behind the bar and gave all 6 hotel rooms a major facelift as well. These much needed updates were long overdue as the aging structures were really looking rather grim.
Heather took over the day to day operation of the Fish N' Lime and two of their children (Sean and Erin) both work there, while Ewan continues to operate the William Thornton.
The main focus of their menu is on fresh, locally caught fish and lobster, whilst meat lovers can always enjoy their steak, burger, chicken or pork dishes. I am not a fish eater, but friends have told me their daily fish specials are excellent. The chicken wings are excellent, the lobster is always done to perfection and I love their burgers. I have to cut the burgers in half because I literally can't get my mouth around them, they are so big. I usually end up taking half home. The home cut fries are delicious too.
They often have live entertainment as well. Call ahead to find out what's happening. You can't beat the location and be sure to bring your camera. The sunsets are often pretty awesome!
