Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour

The heart & soul of Spanish Town, otherwise known as "The Valley", is centered around the harbour on Virgin Gorda which is where the original capital of the BVI was once located prior to being moved to Tortola in 1741.

The marina offers 111 slips, fuel, water, ice, power, cable TV, Internet access and garbage disposal service for your convenience. There's also a 70 ton travel lift and 10 acre, full service boat yard with chandlery, shipwrights, marine mechanics and various other contractors available for sailors passing through who need a little work done.

VGYH also offer a dry storage programme for those wishing to keep their boats at the marina. They will haul and launch your boat up to 3 times per season at only $100.00 per. This ensures your boat will be high and dry and safe from storm damage (and other boaters) and your hull will remain free of sea grass and other marine organisms. Dry storage is less expensive than paying for a slip in the harbour as well!

The marina complex (which is about to undergo a very large expansion within the next year) includes a bank with an ATM machine opposite The Bath & Turtle Restaurant, Dive BVI scuba, gift shops, laundromat, drug store and grocery provisioning.
