Little Dix Bay Beach - Virgin Gorda

VG_Little_Dix_Bay_Beach_Aerial Little Dix Bay Beach
A beautiful, half mile long, palm lined beach with lounge chairs and palapas nicely spaced along the beach for resort guest use. A small grouping of boulders in the center of the beach fits nicely into the well manicured, yet naturally tranquil setting.

There really isn't space for visitors to enjoy the beach if the resort is busy ... nor is it encouraged. However, you may use their parking lot (if driving) and they will allow access to the beach. Should you arrive by boat and provided you don't try to pull a dinghy up on shore, you are welcome to use the beach.

Although there is about 6' of water in the bay, it is definitely not an ideal anchorage. There's very little space to maneuver without bottoming out as the water gets very shallow. A small, shallow draft catamaran could theoretically anchor here in ideal sea conditions, but there are better spots nearby, so my take on it is ... why bother? Use a mooring in St. Thomas Bay and dinghy around or walk in. The resort is right around the corner from the ferry dock.
