Making travel arrangements for your charter vacation in the British Virgin Islands is relatively simple. The main airport is located on Beef Island (EIS) which is connected to Tortola by a small, bridge. The Beef Island Airport does not have the capacity for landing jumbo jets, so as a result, there are no direct flights from mainland *anywhere* to the BVI. However, there are four nearby Caribbean hubs which you may fly into including: Puerto Rico, Antigua, St. Maarten or St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands.

Once at any of these hubs, there are several airlines which fly to the British Virgin Islands including LIAT and American Eagle.

		If you are able to get a direct flight to St. Thomas, in the US Virgin Islands, you can either fly or take the ferry from there to Tortola. There are no ferries to the BVI from any of the other major hubs.
