Momzell's Beach Bar - Josiah's Bay Beach

Located on one of Tortola's most picturesque beaches, Momzell's Beach Bar is a great little place to watch the surfers, take in the sea breeze and enjoy a pretty decent burger. I quite liked my burger and thought the fries were pretty good as well! The food here is surprisingly tasty, the service is friendly and relatively quick. A friend of mine liked their conch fritters, but I wasn't in the mood for conch fritters so can't confirm. People at the next table tried the fish and chips and gave us mixed reviews. One said it was fabulous while the other didn't care for it at all. Go figure.

We both tried their smoothies. His was a rum concoction, while mine was plain banana (no booze) and was made with real bananas, not just banana flavouring. Both were pretty darn delicious. Be sure to bring cash as no credit cards are accepted.

There are not a lot of trees lining the beach to provide protection from the sun, so unless you are able to grab one of the palapas, you may want to hang out at Momzelle's and appreciate the view in between swimming or surfing.

On good days, I believe they rent beach chairs, boogie boards, kayaks and maybe even surf boards here as well.
