There are so many beaches and beach bars to visit in the British Virgin Islands ... and so little time! I have lived in the BVI for more than 20 years but have yet to visit all the beaches and beach bars. Vixen Point is definitely worth a stop!
Vixen Point Beach, Prickly Pear Island
The Bar overlooking the beach
The Sandbox Restaurant is a lovely spot to spend an afternoon or even a whole day. Relax, rent a lounge chair and enjoy the
spectacular views of the
North Sound, play volleyball, go hiking, swimming, snorkeling, have lunch or dinner and visit with owner Lucy.
The North Sound is truly a gorgeous place by any standards and you will get a really good perspective of its charm from the beach here. You can see almost all of the North Sound as well as neighbouring
Moskito Island and
Virgin Gorda from here.

If you've had enough sun and would like some relief, grab a spot at the bar or take a table. If you are really desperate for some news or would like to watch a game ... they have a TV as well.
For those who aren't quite as lazy as I, you may enjoy playing a little volleyball or taking a nice hike around the salt ponds and over the hill to the other beach!
