British Virgin Islands Yacht Charters
aboard the Beneteau Oceanis 43
*with air conditioning*
The Oceanis range of yachts continues to serve the Caribbean sailing industry exceptionally well. Designers, Berret/Racoupeau presented a voluminous hull for this lovely, 43 footer and rigged the boat sensibly, allowing for easy sail handling while not skimping on performance.
Her Italian interior design is spacious, airy, practical and uncomplicated. Exotic "Moabi" (African Pearwood) finish is used throughout, affording this yacht a very high quality feel.
There is more than meets the eye on the Oceanis 43! The traditional, space gobbling navigation station has been thrown overboard in favour of a multi-functional nav table which can double as a computer desk, end table, or meal prep area ... whilst using much less space. A very clever innovation!
Her roomy cabins each offer an en suite head with shower and lots of shelf and locker space. Should you choose to make your Caribbean sailing vacation a family affair, both setees in the main saloon are large enough to use as single berths. Or if you'd like to invite a third couple, the dinette table is fully convertible and can be made into a large double berth.
The galley is pleasingly utilitarian with plenty of storage space, a two burner propane stove with range, twin sinks and a front opening fridge/freezer as well as a top loading ice box.
Topsides, the Oceanis 43' provides easy access to the water or your dinghy via the walk through transom. Twin helm stations and a comfortable, fully covered cockpit cap off this thoroughly pleasant sailboat!
