The 2011 Bavaria 45 provides something as rare as hens teeth in the BVI charter industry - a three cabin monohull ... with three heads! Friends and family wishing to cruise the Caribbean can enjoy their own space while sailing in comfort, style ... and privacy! The forward cabin features a large head and separate shower compartment, while the two, equal sized aft cabins each have their own private head with shower.

Farr Yacht Design and BMW Group DesignworksUSA, are to be congratulated for raising the bar and setting yet another new design standard. Together, they have produced a truly lovely yacht which demonstrates superior sailing performance. Many charter yachts have twin steering stations, but few others boast twin rudders! You will immediately notice her incredibly responsive helm as she holds true to her heading ... like no other.

Another innovation is the fold down transom. It's not a step through transom leading to an attached swim platform, nor is it a tiny section of the transom which drops down to become a tiny platform. The entire transom folds down to become one massive swim platform! This feature opens up the cockpit allowing a lot more space for swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling and will also provide a great deal more air flow to keep the cockpit area cooler while at anchor. Absolutely brilliant concept!

Below decks, the Bavaria 45 has made the days of dark and dingy, monohull "cave dwelling" a thing of the past. This sailboat's airy and spacious interior together with no fewer than 11 opening hatches will make even the most claustrophobic in your group comfortable.

Belying her name, "Trade Secret" ... I have no doubt this yacht won't be much of a secret for very long. This handsome sailboat is guaranteed to be heavily booked throughout the year, so book your dates early to avoid disappointment. Keep in mind that a three cabin, three head monohull is a very, very rare animal!

Bavaria 45 photos Standard equipment includes: Cockpit cushions, full bimini, swim platform with ladder, cooking implements, dinnerware, glassware, cutlery and starter cleaning kit. Bath towels & bed linens are supplied for all charter guests.

Rates for Caribbean yacht charters are based on 7 days noon to noon. Minimum rental duration is 5 nights. To arrive at a daily price, divide the weekly rate by 7 and multiply by the number of nights you wish to sail.

BVI cruising tax, NPT permit, yacht insurance and optional items such as food provisioning, crew or water toys are not included in these rates.

If your Caribbean sailing holiday spans two seasons, your costs will be adjusted to reflect the rate differences.

There are often special discounts offered for last minute bareboat charters in Tortola. If you are planning to sail within 4 to 6 weeks, be sure to ask for any last minute discounts!
