Restaurants in Soper's Hole - British Virgin Islands

Stop at the marina for a tasty repast and glass-o-grog at any of the 6 restaurants in the area. Visit the Blue Parrot Cafe for a lovely breakfast or lunch or sample the wings at Pusser's Landing Restaurant & Bar. Aside from serving international cuisine, and their world famous, Pusser's rum, they make a mean pizza too! Stop in at Pusser's Store to pick up some great casual clothes or gifts for your family.

At the entrance to Soper's Hole, (one of the most picturesque harbours in the British Virgin Islands) you'll find my all time favourite bar and restaurant on Tortola! The Jolly Roger Restaurant & Hotel, is across the harbour from the marina. They make the best BBQ ribs and chicken in the BVI! If you're in West End on a Saturday night, you have to try their Jerk Prime Rib. Its absolutely delicious and the lobster isn't too shabby either! Meet the locals who hang out at the Jolly Roger bar during happy hour. Your bar tender, the irrepressible, Patty Ann, will be "happy to serve you, my darling"! Other restaurants with their own, unique flavour in West End are Frenchman's Cay, (12 minute walk from the marina), Kelly's Restaurant & Suprette (down the road a ways) and of course Omar's, Pisces Restaurant, tucked behind the marina, beside the parking lot. (See map for locations)

If you happen to be visiting Tortola during the full moon, (which is a great time to sail) don't miss "Bomba's Full Moon Party" at the Bomba Shack, located on the north side of Tortola in Cappoon's Bay, about 8 minutes (by taxi) from the marina.

Bomba and his seaside shack are famous throughout the British Virgin Islands and the Caribbean. Pick up a mooring ball, grab a taxi to Bomba's and enjoy. Watch out for the mushroom tea though! Words cannot describe the goings on at the shack during the full moon ... so I won't even try. Its one of those "you have to be there" sort of things. Just go experience Bomba's full moon party for yourself!

There are several, wonderful shops at Soper's Hole Marina including Latitude 18, Zenaida's, Samarkand Jewellers & Internet Cafe, Flamboyance Perfume Shop and you'll find terrific T-shirts at BVI Apparel.
