The master of magic, Seddy Callwood was born and raised on Jost Van Dyke. As if using a tractor beam, he will suck visitors into those big brown eyes and proceed to dazzle them with his impressive powers of prestidigitation!

I was blown away by Seddy's card tricks ... (he also claims to be a mind reader) but the magic string was the one that really got to me! How the heck does he do that?

If visiting White Bay on Jost Van Dyke, look for the beach bar (resembling Bomba's Surfside Shack on Tortola), decorated with life rings, fenders and assorted marine items collected off the beach. Coordinates are N18° 26 Hrs. 34 mins. - W64° 45 hrs. 01 mins.

The difference between Bomba's and One Love is their target audience. The interior of Bomba's is decorated with ladies panties and bras (obviously intended for adult amusement) while the One Love Bar is strewn with children's toys! This is a family place ... and open for all ages. Everyone feels welcome and at home here!

Seddy, Raquel and their two truly adorable if slightly precocious children (Lilly and Isaac) are thoroughly charming hosts. Raquel is outgoing and vivacious at first meeting while the big guy prefers to remain more the "mystery man" type . Watch out though, he has that devilish look in his eyes!

Of course Seddy comes by "that look" honestly as he is Foxy's number one son! The restaurant and bar business is in his blood!

Lilly and Isaac lay claim to visitors as if they were new toys! Isaac is a little love who has no qualms about planting himself squarely in the lap of anyone with whom he feels comfortable.

Lilly too is a real people person just like her Mom ... and not the least bit shy around strangers. She tried (but thankfully did not succeed) to plant a big pink kiss on my camera lens once she had finished dolling herself up with her new lip gloss for the picture! There's absolutely no doubt these children are Callwoods ... and no question they are loved!

One Love is a fun place to enjoy all White Bay, Jost Van Dyke has to offer. Lie on the beach, toss back a few thirst quenching drinks and meet some truly charming and entertaining folks from Jost Van Dyke ... an island which is quite different from the rest of the BVI!
