A handful of businesses are located in Little Harbour which is a great place to get away from the madding crowds ... if there is such a thing on Jost Van Dyke!

On the eastern shore you'll find, Abe's By The Sea, offering seaside dining, a tiny grocery store for provisions as well as car rentals for anyone wishing to go ashore and tour the island by car.

Abe is a big bear of a man, but despite his appearance in this photo, he is a sweetheart who smiles frequently! Abe's wife Eunicy and their staff are very helpful and hospitable ... so stop in for a drink and say hi to big Abey for me!

Beside Abe's is a small, inflatable dinghy rental shop. If you'd like to tour Jost Van Dyke by water, this is the spot. However, I wouldn't recommend renting a dinghy if the seas are even a little rough. This is not a place to find yourself in trouble ... particularly if you don't have a radio!

On the western shore, you'll find Little Harbour Marina owned by Jerry Chinnery. Top up your gas, diesel, water, ice, cold drinks or have some pizza!

Visit this charming harbor and dine at either Harris' Place or Sidney's Peace & Love Restaurant. Both serve absolutely spectacular, fresh lobster dinners!

This is a wonderful island with warm, friendly people. I highly recommend planning a lobster dinner in Little Harbour. For a quiet, overnight anchorage, (with restaurants) ... there isn't a better one in the islands! There are 10 mooring balls available. Pay mooring fees at Abe's.
