 BVI Sailing - Voyage 500 Catamaran
with air conditioning!
The ingenuity of the numerous practical design features jump out at you the minute you set foot aboard this very impressive yacht! The brilliance of the Voyage 500 design is in all the small details, of which there are too many to list. Suffice it to say that this is one catamaran by which all others may be judged.
One of the most striking features on these yachts is the clean, modern interior and exterior design with wonderful visibility both inside and out.
The galley and saloon floors may be washed down with a hose and drained out through the floor hatches. The floor hatches are a great feature as they can also be used for additional ventilation when not underway!
Each of the four double cabins with ensuite head and shower offer complete privacy for up to 8 guests. In addition, there is a crew cabin forward (between the two forward cabins) with access from a deck hatch in the bow. The crew head is located amidships on the port side. While the crew cabin is not recommended for guests, it may be used as such if you like.
I love the galley and integrated saloon with dinette on this yacht! You can easily have 8 people in this area without crowding and the galley offers a good amount of elbow room and storage space. If you are sailing for a week or longer, there are two freezers aboard with loads of room to keep frozen foods!
The navigation station is situated inside, forward of the helm and opposite the dinette. Bring along your laptop and take advantage of the free WIFI connection at the dock in Soper's Hole!
Sailing the BVI has never been more comfortable! You will no doubt be the envy of other sailors aboard lesser yachts!
