Lagoon 440 Yacht Charters
*with Air Conditioning*
When first introduced in 2006, the Lagoon 440 catamaran became an instant success! Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prévost are to be congratulated for their forward thinking and common sense. They really pulled out all the stops!
Amongst their most innovative concepts is the rigid bimini with integrated flybridge. Visibility from the flybridge helm cannot be compared to any traditional catamaran. It is one of those head slapper concepts that makes you wonder why it took so long for someone to do it!
This major departure from "the norm" in catamaran design, not only provides the captain with greatly increased visibility and comfort but it also frees up a tremendous amount of space in the aft cockpit ... making this 44' cat one of the most spacious in the industry!
Another brilliant innovation was the addition of the forward cockpit including seating for 4 to 6 people with a cocktail table that doubles as an anchor locker. Your fender storage is located in the two lazarettes on either side of the bench seats. This is a marvelous place to enjoy the sea breeze while reading a good book and soaking up some sun!
The interior of the Lagoon 440 offers a well thought out, no nonsense layout, making optimal use of space while providing guests with an open and airy environment! Traditional, opening portholes are present, but she also sports large, (one way) port lights in each cabin providing both ambient light with exterior views as well as complete privacy.
Sailing the British Virgin Islands aboard this fabulous catamaran will make you the envy of every sailor you encounter!
