BVI Catamaran Charters - Lagoon 420
with DIESEL engines (May, 2009)
and *Air Conditioning*
It's easy to see that a lot of forethought went into the design of his mid sized cat which boasts several important design and safety innovations. The Lagoon 420's beautifully clean decks, sport flush mounted hatches and a lovely wide walk-around, providing safe and easy access to the foredeck.
While sailing the British Virgin Islands, you won't have to concern yourselves with the little ones catching their fingers in the traveler! It is safely mounted on top of the fiberglass bimini, leaving the cockpit free and clear of any dangers and allowing for a walk through transom!
The 420 offers a well engineered sail handling arrangement making her a breeze to sail with just two crew. She can be single handed quite easily as well. All lines lead to the raised helm station, within easy reach of the skipper and a sliding hatch over the helm station can be opened to check sail trim or closed to provide protection from the Caribbean sun.
Lagoon have taken great pains to provide a crisp and clean interior as well. The galley faces the cockpit with sliding door access and a large sliding glass pass through, allowing the cook to be part of the fun and allowing the breeze to circulate throughout the yacht.
Light Oak Alpi woodwork and laminated wenge flooring throughout, give this catamaran a distinctly modern look and feel; while large, translucent portlights in the cabins provide exceptional privacy and spaciousness. Each cabin has it's own, individual head with shower for added comfort and privacy for all charter guests.
