She sports the well known vertical windows (with slight overhang) that help keep your interior cool. On either side of the mast enclosure, you'll note there are two opening hatches to provide flow through ventilation. Even without air conditioning, the salon is quite livable. Your refrigerator is located to starboard of the settee which seats 5 to 6.
Though the galley is compact and lacks counter space, there are two large tables at which you can easily prepare meals. You have two stainless steel sinks, a three burner stove and oven. Not much more is needed! You'll find storage space beside the stove, under the sinks, behind the small counter (left corner) as well as under the salon seats. The centralized layout ensures that the chef is always part of the social atmosphere.
I forgot to take the weather cover off the little fold out counter at the pass through window when I was taking the photos. It comes in very handy and saves the cook (and whomever may be on dish duty) a few steps!
A large deck cooler is also provided out in the cockpit. Best to keep all your drinks in the cooler so that people won't be opening and closing the fridge every five minutes. As we all know, sailing is a thirsty business. You don't want to overwork your refrigerator! :)
This little catamaran is just a smidge under 38' long, yet she sleeps up to 8 people comfortably in four double cabins. That's a remarkable feat and speaks directly to her overwhelming popularity. The net result of the "size versus accommodation ratio", makes for a very reasonable cost per head. Suddenly an exotic Caribbean sailing vacation has become within reach of the many, instead of the privileged few!
The covered cockpit dinette seats 6 to 8 while the helm seats 2. As you can see, once the sliding glass door and pass through window are opened, the indoor and outdoor spaces become integrated, making for a very "social" atmosphere for all aboard ... even while underway!
