North Sound offers a perfectly contained area with protected waters and plenty to do and see! Bitter End Yacht Club is a big part of this popular, BVI sailing destination and offers a very well equipped sailing center with all sorts of small sailboats and water toys, including IC24's, Lasers, Hobie Cats, Picos, Optimists, windsurfers, kayaks and much more!

In addition to all this, you'll find Kilbride's Sunchaser Scuba and Carib Kiteboarding located on the club premises ... just in case you want to try something a little different to get your heart pumping!

There are plenty of spots to anchor safely in North Sound or you may pick up a mooring ball. Take your pick! I would definitely plan for a full day here. BEYC resort has several restaurants to choose from as well as a couple of really lovely gift shops. You'll also find a great hiking & nature trail from Biras Creek over to the south shore.

BEYC Resort is a wonderful spot for the whole family. I could barely believe my ears when I heard a 12 year old boy complain to his mother that he was bored. (They were staying at the Bitter End.) When our eyes met, I couldn't help myself ... I told her to sell him and trade him in for a smarter model!

I just love the photo below of these two red mangroves doing the tango while a honeymoon couple enjoys a romantic afternoon at the club in Gorda Sound. With the Caribbean Sea in the background ... its simply the living end!
